The Morgan Duke Conservation Society is applying for a grant through Park & Trail Partnership Grants to have an interpretive sign designed and made for the big parking lot at the Hudson River Recreation Area. This interpretive sign will include the history of the area, Leave No Trace Principles, and how the public can sign up to become a volunteer.
How You Can Help!
This is where you come in. As part of the requirements for the grant, The Morgan Duke Conservation Society will have to raising matching funds in the amount equal to the grant. We are reaching out to Individuals & Businesses to join us in our efforts to secure this vital grant for the Hudson River Recreation Area. We need to raise $500.00 by April 10th 2021 so your help is critical to securing this grant. I know it may seem a sign might seem trivial but the interpretive sign will benefit the area by providing people the Leave No Trace principles and talking about the history of the area, which will enrich our environment and those who use it. Can we count you in helping us receive this grant? Go to [how you want them to donate] now. As a 501(C)3 non-profit, donations are tax deductible. You can reach me at Jsullivan@mogandukecs.ngo
